Ames Consulting was started from our intimate understanding of the challenges inherent to scaling a business. We don't believe in transactional recruitment but instead are eager to partner closely with clients to delivery exceptional talent solutions curated to your specific business needs.
We also want to give back to the market. Having a passion for helping not just clients but candidates as well, we hope to value add to the hiring process for candidates by guiding them through interviews and providing insightful guidance.
Our Founder
Ames Consulting is founded by Amy Choong, a seasoned Talent Acquisition Professional with over 10 years of experience building teams and hiring for global tech companies. She has a track record of success in driving and scaling Talent Acquisition efforts from scratch for two rapid-growth global startups. As the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, Amy partnered closely with Leaders at ShopBack to hire across teams and regions, expanding from 200 to over 1,000 full time head counts across Asia-Pacific and Europe. At Sea Group, Amy hired for multiple functions across the APAC region, to build up key functions that were critical to ensuring the company's successful NYSE-IPO.
Apart from building tech companies, Amy started her career hiring for law firms. After noticing a gap in the industry, Amy is passionate about bringing her extensive and diverse expertise to the recruitment market. She is dedicated to extending her efforts globally in search of building a strong team for your organisation - from building key functions to filling key head counts in the leadership team.
